Description
The original Henry House was the home of 85 year old Judith Carter Henry. She refused to leave her upstairs bedroom when the First Battle of Bull Run began on July 21, 1861. She was killed by a Union cannon shell meant for Confederate snipers. The house was rebuilt in 1870.
