The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Photography gives me such great joy. It's wonderful to discover the beauty in familiar places and things as well as in some new and different ones. For instance, if you look closely at a dandelion gone to seed, it's really quite beautiful and intricate. A simple cottage shutter and a bench become a composition.
